• Identifying and dis-empowering financial trauma and scarcity mindset
• Actionable steps to decrease shame and increase discernment around money
• Common Money Disruptions
• Financial Fawning as a trauma response
Description:
We know that trauma is an emotional response to a significant personal event, such as an accident, crime, abuse, neglect, or violence. We have also come to know that in trauma, every response is a reaction to survival instead of a cognitive choice. More recently we have come to realize that money trauma is “an emotional wounding that happens as a direct result of something to do specifically with money” (Chapman). It’s increasingly recognized that symptoms of money trauma can include feeling unsafe and unworthy, and can lead to both avoidant, obsessive, compulsive and other destructive behaviours. Money trauma can lead to family dysfunction, substance use, gambling and poor physical health among other upsets. This webinar will explore how to: identify and disempower financial trauma, take actionable steps to decrease shame, increase discernment around money and much more. Whether this is for you or for you to help your clients, we invite you to join us for this original webinar.
