FAQ: In-Person Workshops

We are re-organizing our FAQ pages – this page is a work in progress.

In the mean time, please contact us if you have any questions that are not answered here or require assistance.

What should I bring with me?

  • A pen
  • A light sweater or cardigan (conference rooms can get chilly)

What time should I arrive?

Our standard start time is 0830, so we recommend arriving between 0800 and 0815 to get a seat and settle in.

I have a dietary restriction. Can I get a special lunch?

Our buffet lunch usually contains vegetarian and dairy-free options. If you require a gluten-free meal due to celiac disease, please inform the Health Links Education staff/convenor in the morning upon arrival at the workshop so we have time to make arrangements with the kitchen. Please do not ask the venue staff – ask us directly.

I lost my certificate

Please email us for a replacement and it will be mailed to the address we have on your file. At this time all in-person certificates can only be mailed, please make sure your information is up to date or provide the information when contacting us.

Can I bring my child(ren) to the workshop?

Our workshops are professional, adult learning experiences and children are not permitted. The only exceptions are for breastfeeding infants. If attending with a breastfeeding infant, we recommend choosing an aisle seat near an exit, and leaving the conference room if the baby becomes fussy or disruptive.
