Define leadership style
• Understand why knowing your leadership style is important
• Explore the types of leadership styles
• Describe the benefits and challenges of each style
• Explore the notion of having more than one leadership style
• Identify destructive leadership styles and what makes them destructive
• Describe the leadership styles that are best in today’s healthcare organizations

Description:
There are many different ways to lead a team to success. Different leaders have different traits that make their specific brand of leadership work. In this seminar we’re going to take a look at several leadership styles (with examples), so you can discover which one is the right leadership style for you, and your team.

Having an appreciation of different leadership styles helps us identify our reaction to the many changing situations we experience every day. Are you curious as to which style of leadership you resemble most? One of the keys to being an exceptional leader is understanding your leadership style – the manner in which you impact others, the way you influence others – so you can lead with confidence, direct and support team members, and harness your leadership strengths while improving on any areas of opportunity.
