Description:
Toxic workplaces are exactly what they sound like: incompatible with your well being. Toxic workplace behaviours can damage careers and personal lives; and the damage can be severe and long-lasting. Whether you’re dealing with a culture of overwork and burnout, a narcissistic boss, a backstabbing colleague or endless microaggressions, it can feel impossible to know what to do. Should you address the issue directly? Or is it better to engage in “office” politics, go to HR, or just keep your head down? Join our organizational expert Stacey Holloway BScN for this three-part webinar series to learn about how toxicity can develop in a workplace, the signs and symptoms of a toxic workplace, what toxicity looks like in behaviour and leadership, and what you, as a staff member, and what management can do to prevent and change a toxic work culture. The goal will be to develop a healthy, non-toxic culture that emphasizes kindness, respect, fairness, trust and psychological safety. Should you not be able to join us for all of the “live” sessions, remember that you can watch the series “on demand” at a time convenient to you, and as many times as you like for at least one year.
