\n3. Setting Healthy Boundaries: <\/b>Provide strategies for establishing and maintaining boundaries to protect oneself from further harm.
\n4. Healing from Emotional Trauma: <\/b>Discuss techniques for processing emotions, breaking the trauma bond, rebuilding self-worth, and recovering from the long-term effects of narcissistic abuse.
\n5. Building Healthy Relationships: <\/b>Offer guidance on fostering healthy, supportive relationships in the future by recognizing red flags and cultivating self-awareness.<\/p>\n

\n<\/b>Narcissistic abuse is a type of emotional abuse in which the abuser uses words and actions to manipulate and control the behaviour and emotional state of someone in a personal or even professional relationship with them.<\/b>\u00a0Those who treat victims of narcissistic abuse know that survivors may sustain lifelong emotional trauma. What is the best way to treat these clients, or perhaps gain insight into your\u00a0own healing journey?\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Shikha Seeboruth, MA, RP,\u00a0CCTP<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0 is the Founder and Clinical Director of The Therapeutic Way, Counselling and Psychotherapy Services, a psychotherapy clinic in Ontario. She is a Registered Psychotherapist, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician. Shikha and her team specialize in Narcissistic Abuse Recovery, Relational Trauma, and Relationship Concerns.<\/div>\n

She is also a couple’s therapist and works with high-conflict couples. She has experience working with couples and families with narcissistic partner, family members, and co-workers. Other than therapy, Shikha holds workshops, group therapy, and public speaking events for topics on narcissistic abuse recovery, relationships, emotional abuse, relational trauma, and more.<\/div>\n
