There are a lot of issues that can affect the female reproductive system and we’re here to help with a Gynecology Update<\/strong>. We’ll update you on the newest developments, so whether you work in acute care O & G, in primary care, a woman’s health clinic or a sexual health clinic, our goal is for you to have the most up-to-date info, wherever and whenever you are asked questions about these common problems.. <\/i>Dr. Fatima Daoud<\/strong> is an OBGYN who has a forthright style in her quest to empower patients with the information they need to make the decisions that are best for them and their families. She’ll use that same style in teaching us what’s new in the treatment of PCOS, contraception, cervical cancer screening, endometriosis and abnormal uterine bleeding.<\/p>\n

Fatima Aly Daoud MD<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Fatima Daoud <\/b>was born and raised on Long Island. After earning her bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University, she completed her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and completed her residency training at Albany Medical Center.\u00a0 She is currently a clinical assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stony Brook Medicine, where she is lucky enough to train the next generation of physicians to provide culturally-competent and historically-informed reproductive health care. She believes the best approach to women’s healthcare is one that empowers all patients with the information they need to make decisions that are best for them and their families. When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Daoud enjoys medical myth-busting on social media and spending time with her husband, her newborn and their two cats.<\/p>\n
