Description:
\n<\/b>Depression in men is a serious medical condition, which is frequently under-diagnosed. While it is often reported that men have lower rates of depression, this does not necessarily signify better mental health. There are known differences both in how depression is expressed and how it is dealt with in men. In addition, in while women are more likely to experience suicidal thinking, men are far more likely to die by suicide and the numbers are steadily increasing. Join us for this important webinar to explore factors in depression and suicide in men and the most important prevention and treatment strategies.<\/p>\n

His research program focuses on a variety of psychotherapies and patient populations, with a particular focus on personality disorders and men\u2019s mental health. He is Past-President of the North American chapter of the International Society for Psychotherapy Research, and Founder of HeadsUpGuys<\/a>, a leading global resource for supporting men with depression.
